ABOUT ME

I’m Peter, a native Slovak speaker born and raised in Slovakia.

 

From a very young age, I’ve always loved being exposed to foreign languages — especially how speaking them opens doors to new cultures. I’m quite sure that without the cultural aspect, my interest in language learning would never have developed in the first place.

 

Over the years, I’ve taught myself both Spanish and English, largely thanks to the wide range of content available online.

 

Unfortunately, when it comes to Slovak, we don’t have that same luxury — there simply isn’t enough engaging content to choose from.

 

And that´s exactly why I decided to start this site – to fill that gap.

MY MISSION

There are very few resources online dedicated to teaching Slovak as a foreign language.

 

And among those that do exist, only a small percentage use authentic, everyday Slovak that’s accessible to learners of all levels.

 

With this blog, I want to change that — by providing high-quality, practical content that focuses on real vocabulary and useful expressions.
